Schmalz Vacuum Technology Ltd. was founded end of 2006 in Cambridge. Schmalz Vacuum Technology Ltd. is part of the international Schmalz Group. Its holding company J. Schmalz GmbH is based in Glatten, Germany.
Schmalz is the world's leading partner for vacuum technology in automation, handling and clamping applications. The company provides a wide range of vacuum products, that include vacuum components and gripping systems, ergonomic vacuum lifting equipment and vacuum clamping systems.
In August 2008 Schmalz moved from the original facility in Cambridge to a larger location in Mississauga.
